Daewoong Foundation selects new research topics each year in line with the evolving medical and scientific landscape, identifying and supporting promising researchers with the potential to excel in their respective fields.

This year’s Research Grant will recruit researchers in six Research Areas: ▲Research on Novel Mechanism-Based Degraders ▲AI-Driven Drug Discovery for full life-cycle drug development, including novel target identification, lead generation, and therapeutic efficacy optimization ▲Development of innovative gene therapy platforms or disease-related gene discovery ▲Development of innovative cell therapies for functional restoration of target tissues ▲Formulation optimization for targeted delivery of biopharmaceuticals to low-accessible tissues such as the CNS ▲Investigation of novel compounds and aging pathways using human-like non-human primates.

Applicants must be under the age of 45 (born on or after January 1, 1980) and hold an MD, VMD, RPh, or PhD degree. The program supports a one-year research period (Dec 2025 – Nov 2026) with funding of up to KRW 50 million. Applications must be submitted online via the Foundation’s official email.
