CSR
Building Healthier Communities Through Innovation and Responsibility
Daewoong’s CSR Commitment
At Daewoong, we believe that corporate responsibility means more than achieving business success—it means making a tangible, lasting difference in the lives of people and communities. Since establishing our presence in Indonesia over 20 years ago, we have built a legacy of shared growth, inclusion, and social contribution.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) philosophy is grounded in three pillars:

1. Empowering talent,
2. Advancing public health, and
3. Fostering sustainable partnerships.
We support the next generation of medical and scientific professionals through long-term scholarship programs, global education opportunities, and collaborative research with Indonesia’s top universities such as UI, ITB, and IPB. More than 1,900 students across Asia have received our scholarships, and many are now playing key roles in healthcare innovation.

We also contribute to public health by delivering medical education, training programs, and outreach services. These include surgical support for firefighters, medical donations to disaster-affected regions, and training for local healthcare providers in advanced device use and clinical knowledge.Through strategic collaborations and open academic exchange, we aim to strengthen Indonesia’s clinical and biomedical capabilities—supporting not only infrastructure but also people, systems, and shared knowledge.

Every initiative reflects our long-standing promise to grow alongside the Indonesian people. CSR at Daewoong is not an obligation—it is a strategic and heartfelt commitment to foster a healthier, more resilient, and inclusive future for all.
