Seoul, South Korea — NABOTA Master Class (NMC) once again demonstrated Daewoong Pharmaceutical Indonesia’s commitment to advancing the capabilities of Indonesian medical professionals through global scientific exchange. Held as part of a multi-day educational program in Korea, NMC brought together selected doctors from Indonesia for congress participation, expert symposiums, manufacturing immersion, private workshops, and cadaver-based hands-on training, reinforcing Daewoong’s role as a long-term growth partner for Indonesia for more than 20 years.

The program opened with participation in ASLS Korea 2026, hosted by the Aesthetic Surgery & Laser Society (ASLS), where participants were exposed to the latest developments in aesthetic medicine and clinical education. Beyond trend observation, the congress gave the Indonesian delegation a chance to reflect on how scientific content, treatment concepts, and educational formats could be adapted more effectively for the Indonesian market.

Reflecting on the congress, dr. Danu Mahandaru, Sp.BP-RE, founder of The Clinic Beautylosophy, said, “This experience gave us valuable insight into how global aesthetic trends are evolving, but more importantly, it showed how structured education can be shaped into something more relevant and impactful for Indonesian doctors.” His perspective reflects one of the key outcomes of the program: not only learning from global practice, but identifying how to translate it into practical capability-building at home.

The second day focused on scientific symposium sessions and networking discussions, where Daewoong’s Botulinum Toxin Type A was explored through the lens of safety, treatment expansion, and multimodality approaches. The sessions resonated strongly with participants, particularly in highlighting how scientific evidence and real-world application must go hand in hand as the injectables market continues to grow more sophisticated.

During the symposium, dr. Hardiono Teddy Saputra, M.Biomed (AAM) of RejuvenaTED Clinic was selected as one of the Indonesian speakers, presenting on the use of Botulinum Toxin Type A for hyperhidrosis, including excessive sweating in the underarms and hands. “Patient demand for body indications such as hyperhidrosis continues to grow, so healthcare professionals need to keep updating their knowledge beyond facial aesthetics,” said dr. Hardiono. His session underscored the importance of expanding scientific discussions in line with evolving clinical needs and future market demand.

A major highlight of the program was the visit to Daewoong’s Hyangnam Factory, where participants observed the company’s manufacturing system and gained a closer understanding of the technological standards behind Botulinum Toxin Type A production. The visit strengthened participants’ appreciation of how quality, consistency, and scientific rigor are built into the production process, while also reinforcing Daewoong’s commitment to transparency and long-term trust-building with Indonesian healthcare professionals.

The educational journey continued through a private workshop focused on CGBIO’s collagen stimulator and thread portfolios, creating space for a more in-depth exchange on product differentiation, treatment planning, and local market applicability. Participants discussed the need to sharpen positioning for each SKU and explored how Korean treatment concepts and pricing strategies might be adapted more realistically for Indonesia.

Reflecting on the session, dr. Faisal Maulana of Bening’s Clinic, said, “This program was valuable because it went beyond introducing products and moved into practical treatment methods and know-how that can be applied in real clinical settings. For Indonesian doctors, deeper discussion on product differentiation and real case sharing will make this kind of workshop even more impactful.” His remarks align closely with Daewoong’s objective of building clinically useful, market-relevant education for Indonesian practitioners.

The final stage of the program featured cadaver-based lectures, anatomy education, and hands-on clinical training, offering a more realistic and practice-oriented learning experience. These sessions were especially appreciated for making advanced anatomical concepts easier to understand while also introducing emerging educational technologies such as VR-assisted learning and digital injection tools.

For dr. Raynald Agus Setiawan of Blink Beauty Clinic, the clinical relevance of the session was a key takeaway. He said, “The hands-on format made advanced concepts feel much more practical and applicable. It would be exciting to see future sessions differentiated by basic and advanced levels, so doctors at different stages of practice can gain even more value.” His feedback reflects the growing demand among Indonesian practitioners for tiered, experience-based education that supports continuous skill development.

The user group from Indonesia also found the program highly relevant in deepening both product understanding and treatment confidence. For dr. Reynanda Fathanza Hizrian, AIFO-K, M.IBAMS of CellScience Clinic, the program offered more than technical learning alone. He said, “This program connected scientific knowledge, product understanding, and future treatment opportunities in a way that feels highly relevant for daily practice in Indonesia. It helps us see not just the procedure, but the broader direction of the market and patient needs.”

Taken together, the program reflects Daewoong’s long-standing commitment to grow together with Indonesia, not only by providing high-quality healthcare solutions, but also by investing in scientific collaboration, knowledge transfer, and the development of medical professionals. Through initiatives such as NABOTA Master Class (NMC) and continued collaboration with CGBIO, Daewoong continues to strengthen its role as a trusted partner in supporting the future of healthcare and medical aesthetics in Indonesia.
